This short 2 day trip gives you the pleasant experience in Lang Son, one of
the northernmost tourist cities near the Chinese border. Besides the romantic
scenery on the mountain passes, we also have chance to shop in the Dong Kinh
market, a bustling market with many products from China. As a border area of
Vietnam, Lang Son province has many beautiful landscapes and historical
attractions that show the uniqueness of culture. Because of this, Lang Son is
the potential place to promote tourism.
Day 1: Hanoi - Lang Son (L, D)
At 05h00, the tour guide and driver of our company will welcome all of you at
the meeting place, then depart for Lang Son province, along the way stop in Met
Downtown and have free breakfast, then continue journey. On the go, tourists can
enjoy the beautiful views of the northeast mountains of Vietnam. In Dong Dang
Downtown, tourists visit Mother Temple and pray God for Happiness, Prosperity,
Longevity. The next destination is Tan Thanh border gate Market where tourists
can visit and buy products for their family. At noon, we will depart for Lang
Son City, check in hotel then have lunch at a restaurant with famous food of
this region.
After lunch, relax in the restaurant and then continue the journey to explore a
border area of the country, go to Lang Son city, visit the most stunning
destinations such as Tam Thanh Cave, Nhi Thanh pagoda. Our trip keeps moving on
to Dong Kinh market then get on and come back the hotel, take a rest and have
dinner then freely hang out in Lang Son city at night.
Day 2: Lang Son exploration - Hanoi (B,L)
In the morning, we visit a site unknown to tourists, the formidable Lang Son
French Fort. In addition to the magnificent view of the entire region, it
impresses by the power of its huge remains (it was blown to pieces by the
Chinese in 1979). We then go back to town and visit the ruins of the Citadel of
the Mac Dynasty, a deserted site offering of beautiful view of the countryside.
Also, you can watch the natural stone statue of Ms. To Thi, Mac ancient citadel
and the whole view of Lang Son downtown. We have lunch in Lang Son before
getting on our car and return to Hanoi. We arrive in Hanoi at 17.00
