Mai Chau tours

By 2:00 pm, driving 20 km more to Pu Luong Natural Reserve then start a 2 to 3 hour walk through beautiful hill side villages, magnificent rice paddies, seeing hand crafted bamboo water wheels. The highlight on this walk is experiencing the beauty of Pu luong Nature Reserve, the everyday life and culture of the white Thai people. Become a part of local life.

After breakfast, we farewell the local villagers then we have a short walk to our waiting Van. Depart for Kim Boi. Kim Boi is an untouched destination for travelers other than the local people of the surrounding provinces. Kim Boi means 'Golden Cup' in English. It has a small population of mostly Muong and Thai hill tribe people.

In the afternoon, you can cycle through the lovely villages in the Mai Chau valley letting your guide point out and explain the wonders along the way. Afterwards, we return to Mai Chau for dinner and homestay in the stilt house with your friendly Thai hosts.

Upon arrival at Mai Chau, you will enjoy trek tour through a rich forest the color of bright green parrots, stopping at secluded villages, such as Lac, Van, and Pom Coong. Explore the daily life of the Thai minority people, and learn more about their ancient traditions and customs.
